The NOMA KC Project Pipeline Architecture Camp is a five-day program that immerses middle and high school students in the world of architecture. Through hands-on studio sessions, students get to explore and learn about the profession. They'll have the opportunity to showcase their creativity by designing a real site in the Kansas City Metro area. Throughout the camp, students will develop important skills such as model making, architectural drawing, sketching, critical thinking, and public speaking. This program is both enjoyable and stimulating, offering students a chance to have fun while facing exciting challenges.
In June 24th to June 29th, 2019, the college of architectural studies volunteered to host four groups of female students, from 6th to 8th grade, who showed interests in a week-long summer STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) camp. Our department was in charge of introducing them to design-thinking concepts related to interior design and architecture.

Open Houses @ iLab
iLab hosts many events and open houses every semester. We helped organize, plan, and prepare the lab environment and technologies to meet the visitors' expectations based on their demography. We usually had diverse visitors, ranging from young children to faculty members and occasionally high-profile individuals, such as the governor Mike Parson. Additionally, I have designed and prepared large posters, banners, and brochures for the main events.
